Silk painting of mercejuan defines a personal way of understanding this art, marked by the pure colors, bright, vivid, which are mixed and melted together to catch the light on the silk and return it to our eyes multiplied, thanks to special characteristics of this tissue.

mercejuan is the brand that certifies the items created in "The World of Silk", the workshop where they work in the street Loreto Denia.

Responds to the names of artists who are: Mercedes and Juan

Juan Sanchez, a graduate from the School of Arts and Crafts of Seville, from 1977, with a history painting in all disciplines, from charcoal to oils. He has participated in solo and group exhibitions in Seville, Cordoba, Alicante, Valencia and Madrid.

Merche Gaspar, self-taught in painting on silk since 2000.

Since then, together, have shown their works in silk in fairs and exhibitions around the whole Spanish.
